GENERAL COMMENTS

March 2005
I have been reading the editions of each journal and I am very excited about the excellent quality of the articles. A very high standard. I have subsequently decided to try to submit an article, although I am not sure it will get past the scrutiny of what must be good external reviewers. Please continue all the hard work.

The web pages are exceptionally user-friendly and very attractive and clear. I like the lay out and the easy access to the articles. Great. Well done!

The new .pdf format is great!! The addition of authors' photos brings each article alive. The Contributors' page is a wonderful feature as it provides a good overall sense of the journal's spectrum and thrust. Let's hope that the journal continues to expand.

Today I have been able to download my article and read it. I must say I feel flattered with the end product. While we are basking in our achievement for having published an academic journal article, we also know very well that we are heavily indebted to your team for much selfless input.

As a result, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you (as the editor of the Journal), the two reviewers (for seeing potential in our paper and for their constructive input), the language editor, and everybody at IPJP who assisted in making this paper what it now is.

As a relatively young academic struggling to find my theoretical home, I have found your journal to be one that nurtures my intellectual needs in a consistent and sustained fashion.

As the year comes to an end, I thought I would say how much I have drawn from the journal and especially that I have had easy access to a number of South African and Australian authors through the journal papers.

Seeing my work in a journal of such high calibre is most certainly rewarding. Thanks to you and your team for assisting me to write a paper worthy of publication in your journal.

Congratulations on the achievement with your journal! I and my research team embarked on a study with a focus on the cycle of violence using phenomenological methodology. We are looking forward to your special edition on Methodology.
Gertie, South Africa
